I am an integrative counsellor and coach, working collaboratively with clients to explore where they are now and to define where they want to get to.

I help clients who are looking for something more than pure counselling or coaching can offer. I provide a safe and confidential space to explore past and current issues, as well as opportunities to look to the future. Working together in this way enables meaningful and lasting change to be realised.

At the heart of my practice is Person-Centred counselling, providing a nurturing relationship to support you to overcome difficulties and to find your own path to living a more fulfilling life. I draw on a number of different models such as Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and am informed by Existential and Psychodynamic theory.
If you wish to, I can work creatively, using objects, tactile materials or drawing to help you express thoughts and feelings that are hard to put into words, and to find new perspectives. Where appropriate, I bring coaching into our work together to explore your future goals and to map a route to move forward.
Whilst we all have times in our lives when we need some additional help, I realise that taking that first step takes courage. Coming to terms with ourselves and our difficulties can be hard, and so building a strong non-judgemental relationship built on trust is central to my practice. I will support you to explore difficult and overwhelming feelings, and really feel heard. Every person is unique, and my integrative and innovative approach means that I can work with you as an individual to meet your own needs and preferences.
